Redefine Success

What does it mean to be successful? To have a life that you want? To enjoy the things that you like? What does it mean to hold things dear to you close? I ask myself why I don’t have what I want, and then I immediately think about having what I need. Sometimes things don’t always come when you want it, they come when you need it. I rush, I pray, I work and I play. But at the end of the day when does it pay? I want to be free but I also want to be me. The days feel numbered but there’s no end, almost like infinity. I ask for grace, for guidance, for forgiveness, for love. But most of all I ask for you.
